Re-living the Glory days of Prom

So I went to Prom .....again!
Yeah, so I'm 25 and loved every minute of dressing up for our YSA "Prom" activity.
I wasn't sure how many people would go all out or what, but we did and we loved it!
I wore Jazz's prom dress and it was way better than high school prom because I wasn't afraid to dance and let loose (you remember those high school "images" you gotta keep).
I danced the whole 3 hours and it was a blast! Nice Idea activities committee...I was skeptical, but it was actually fun!

New post...for the benefit of those who love random facts.

Kasey Hooter is my best friend and this is a shout out to her. She reads blogs and loves how people write about the most random things that are completely pointless, but nonetheless hilarious.
So for you Kase....
I was driving today and I saw a butterfly. I thought "hmm, I almost just had a butterfly smashed on the front of my car" but it flew away safely. Then I thought "this is one of those random facts that Kase loves reading about, I think I'll blog about it later". So here I am...for you! I miss you already. Hope the next time you see a butterfly, you'll laugh and think of me!

I did it!

I decided I like blogs better than facebook....I've become a little bored with and disappointed with Facebook. So here I am, entering the blogging world.
I'm new, so I'm excited to see all the neat gadgets blogs have to offer!
As for me and my life...
I'm happily vacationing in Spokane, WA.
Home of my amazing nephews

Campbell McCulloch Burns, 3 and Sawyer Millar Burns, 2 weeks
These boys are amazing! Such good little guys. I miss having them near.

And While I'm at it...

my nieces are the most amazing little girls ever!

Harley Madeline Rae Burns, 6 and Mylie Michelle Burns, 3

They live in North Salt Lake, we just visited them on Conference weekend.
Yeah, I know, I have some attractive nieces and nephews...its in the blood, I hope!
I'm definitely looking forward to my own cute children someday!
But I'm a very proud Aunt and love my family more than anything!
They are my rock!
My mom is my best friend!
And my sisters are amazing,
literally, I'm so lucky to have had my brother's choose such great wives!
My Dad is my hero and I can only hope to find a guy like him someday!
And my brothers are all "The MAN"
My Dad is the 2nd Counselor in my single's ward Bishopric (He now does not have a goatee because of that) and I love having him there!
He fulfills his calling so well and thus, my mom has to juggle going to her homeward with just Abe and Noah AND be the Mother of the Single's ward!
She does it very gracefully!
Well, until next time...
Mom just made us lunch at Gabe's house.
Yum!
